This work explores the experience of losing a dear friend and of finding a new way of being without her. A close group of three makers studying together, suddenly we find we are only two and the future we had planned, exhibiting together and inspiring each other, is entirely different.
The outer panels include our three names and the words ‘we are three’ whilst the centre panel says ‘learning to be two, a new way of being’.
A new way of being was selected for, and exhibited at, the British Glass Biennale 2024.
